As a Support Worker within Cardiff Mind’s Supported Accommodation Scheme, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals living in supported accommodation, empowering them to develop the confidence, skills, and resilience needed to maintain their tenancy, improve their mental health and wellbeing, and achieve greater independence within their community.
Working collaboratively with service users and partner agencies, you will support individuals in identifying their goals, making informed choices, and achieving positive outcomes through tailored support planning, advocacy, and practical and emotional support.
Please state on your application form how many hours per week you would ideally like to work. This will not factor into the success of your application for shortlisting or interview. We will discuss at interview how many hours are available, and how many people we will recruit to fill the team. Our decisions will be based on matching potential applicants to the demands of the service across the geography of the areas the service will cover.
