As a person-centred counsellor, my approach is in creating a warm, non-judgmental, and confidential space where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and accepted. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative partnership—one where clients are seen as the experts of their own experiences. My role is to walk alongside them, offering empathy, presence, and encouragement as they explore their inner world and move toward healing and growth.
I believe the most important factors in the counselling relationship are trust, authenticity, and empathy. These foundations create a safe environment where clients can begin to reflect, process emotions, and make sense of their experiences without fear of judgment. I aim to build a connection that allows clients to feel secure enough to be vulnerable, which is where true transformation begins.
My special interests include working with individuals experiencing relationship difficulties, particularly around breakups, loss, and identity transitions. I am passionate about helping people rediscover their inner strength, rebuild self-worth, and move forward with confidence and clarity. Empowerment is central to my work—supporting clients to reclaim their voice and live more fully in alignment with their values. I also work with clients facing issues such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, domestic abuse, and work-related stress, including burnout and career transitions. I understand how our sense of self can be deeply shaped by our relationships and professional roles, and I aim to help clients navigate these complex areas with compassion and insight.
What I enjoy most about being a counsellor is witnessing clients reconnect with themselves—watching as they shift from confusion or self-doubt to clarity, strength, and self-acceptance. It’s a privilege to hold space for that kind of change and to be a part of someone’s journey toward empowerment and self-discovery.
I come from a competitive sporting background and have a strong passion for fitness and the mind-body connection. This personal experience influences my counselling practice, particularly in understanding how physical wellbeing can support emotional health. I’m currently studying coaching alongside counselling, and I enjoy exploring how movement and resilience, can be integrated into the therapeutic process.
