My approach to therapy is grounded in the relationship I have with my clients. My practice comes from a place of belief that you understand your life best, and it’s my job to give you space to explore what this means, and empower you to understand yourself, your needs, and work towards living your life in the way that suits you. My core training is as an integrative practitioner, meaning I have a background in multiple therapeutic modalities, including humanistic, CBT, existential, and psychodynamic. In practice, this means I tailor the therapeutic experience to you, drawing on multiple disciplines to work in a way that suits you and your needs.
I believe that positive, trusting, and successful counselling relationships can be developed when clients are given the space to feel safe and explore themselves in a truly nonjudgemental environment.
I have worked a lot with young adults and people experiencing a “quarter life crisis”, although I am fortunate to have worked with adults of all ages through a broad spectrum of experiences and issues.
I enjoy giving people space to explore themselves and their struggles and working with people to become empowered to make their own moves to live a more fulfilling life.
I have an interest in DIY and particularly enjoy tiling.
