How would you describe your approach to counselling?
My main approach to counselling is person-centred, which means I value each individual’s capacity for growth and self-understanding. I offer a non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, accepted, and supported. Whilst the person-centred approach guides the foundation of my client work, I also integrate other elements such as grounding techniques, psychoeducation and the unconscious mind – tailoring sessions to your unique needs and preferences.
What do you think are the most important factors in the counselling relationship?
I believe the heart of meaningful therapy lies in the quality of the relationship we build together. Trust, empathy, authenticity, and a genuine human connection are essential. When you feel safe and truly seen, it opens the door for deeper exploration, healing, and lasting change.
Do you have any special interests or client groups that you work a lot with?
I have worked with a variety of clients, but I am passionate about providing a trauma informed environment and working with individuals on trauma stabilisation. I am also particularly interested in working with neurodiverse and LGBTQ+ clients.
What do you enjoy most about your work as a counsellor?
What I enjoy most is being able to truly connect with people in a meaningful way. It’s a privilege to be alongside someone as they explore their inner world, sometimes for the first time. I find it deeply moving to witness the moments when someone begins to feel more like themselves,
